Kate Mosse is the author of three non-fiction books, two plays and five novels, including the multi-million selling international No 1 bestseller, Labyrinth. Translated into 38 languages and published in 40 countries, it won 'Richard & Judy's Best Read' at the 2006 British Book Awards and was chosen as one of Waterstone's Top 25 novels of the past twenty five years. The Channel 4 miniseries, produced by Ridley Scott, will air in late 2012. The second novel in her Languedoc Trilogy, Sepulchre, was also an international and UK No 1 bestseller as was The Winter Ghosts, which grew out of her novella for Quick Reads. Citadel, the final novel in the series, will be published in autumn 2012. Her short stories have appeared in a range of collections including Midsummer Nights (Quercus), The Book Lovers' Appreciation Society (Orion), Why Willows Weep (Indie Books) and The Library Book (Profile). A guest presenter for 'A Good Read' for BBC Radio 4, Kate is also is a regular guest on BBC Breakfast News and for The Review Show. The Co-Founder & Honorary Director of the Orange Prize for Fiction, she is on the Board of the National Theatre. In 2006 she was awarded an Honorary Degree by the University of Chichester. She is also Co-Director of the Chichester Writing Festival with her husband, author and teacher, Greg Mosse.
