RESOLUTIONS.

5. Resolution directing the Secretary of the Commonwealth to forward to each member of the present legislature, one copy of the pamphlet laws, one copy of the journals, and one copy of Roberts' edition of the British Statutes.

6. Resolution on the subject of obstructions to the navigation. of the river Delaware.

7. Resolution directing a certain distribution of the supplement to the militia law.

8. Resolution directing the State Treasurer to receive monies due from the United States, expended by this state on account of the late war.

AN ADDRESS

To the Governor for the removal from office of Joseph Brinton, a justice of the peace, of Delaware county.

Mr. Holgate and Mr. Stewart a committee from the House of Representatives being introduced, informed Senate, that that House is ready to adjourn.

A motion was made by Mr. Jarrett and Mr. Welles, and read as follows, to wit.

Resolved, That the transcribing clerk of the Senate, be allowed the sum of one hundred dollars in addition to the sum heretofore allowed to him for his services during the present session, to be paid on a warrant drawn by the Speaker on the State Treasurer On motion,
