STORAGE WAREHOUSES AND BULK FREIGHT STORAGE

The only storage facilities at the port for general traffic are found in the transit shed on pier No. 1. Outgoing bulk freight shipments are taken direct from car to ship, and incoming freight is usually hauled away as unloaded. Several tanks are available for storing molasses.
