About the author (2007)

Sandra got her first dog at age 14, and when she picked out the runt of the litter, and her Mom asked why, she said, ?Because she looked like she needed me.? And that began her love affair with dogs and she has had dogs for over 50 years. Sandra became involved with the Papillon breed in the late 1970?s. Sandra lost her first Papillon at the young age of nine years, and that began her study in nutrition and alternative health care. She felt that there was a better way to care and support our dogs, improve their immune systems and extend their lives as long as possible. She is a member of the National Center for Homeopathy and a Professional Member of the Animal Wellness Association. Sandra has shown Papillons for over twenty years, and has become more and more involved in various aspects of the canine world. She currently has three Papillons, Digit, Pip, and Squeeze, but does not breed them because she readily admits that she would not be able to part with any of them. Since her retirement from Human Resources work in the corporate world, She has set up a doggie daycare and overnight stay in her home, called Digit and Pip's Doggie Daycare. Her overnight doggie guests sleep in her bedroom with her and her dogs. Where else? The author is currently working on the next book in the Naturally Healthy Dog Series, plus articles and reports. So stay tuned.
