This is a very good book and it tackles the problem head on as well as provides practical solutions. After you receive the diagnosis, earliest you read this book along with the companion audio and Driven to Distraction, better off you are. Use the tips in the book with caution. Not every tip may apply to your situation. One serious thing that is lacking is the real life experience of sufferers. Let me explain. Authors have this disorder but they are bunch of psychiatrists who know the system of health care well. What about ordinary people who suffer and keep making mistakes one after another until they land in big trouble. Some testimony from those sufferers will be of immense importance. I liked the 12 step approach to ADD a lot and I think we should all practice it.
