B. to be void, or the said A. B. is since dead, or is become a peer, &c. [as the case may be], as by the letter of our right trusty and well-beloved councillor Speaker of our Lower House of Parliament, more fully and plainly appears. By virtue of the authority contained in "The Ballot Act, 1872," and of any other law now in force enabling me in that behalf, I
