Department of Public Charities—Assignment to, of One Mangle, Turned Over by the Trustees of Bellevue and Allied Hospitals.

The Deputy and Acting Comptroller presented the following report and offered the following resolution:

January 4, 1916. To the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund, The City of New York: Gentlemen-On December 16, 1915, the Trustees of Bellevue and Allied Hospitals surrendered to the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund the following property as no longer required:

One (1) small mangle, located in the nurses' home of Bellevue Hospital.

In a communication dated December 22, 1915, the Department of Public Charities requested the assignment of the property above referred to. The adoption of the attached resolution authorizing the assignment is therefore recommended. ALEX. BROUGH, Deputy and Acting Comptroller.

Resolved, That, pursuant to the provisions of section 205 of the Greater New York
Charter, as amended, the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund hereby assign to the
Department of Public Charities the following property turned over by the Trustees

Chamberlain-Assignment to, of One Underwood Typewriter, Turned Over by Board of Water Supply.

The Deputy and Acting Comptroller presented the following report and offered the following resolution:

Gentlemen-On December 21, 1915, the Board of Water Supply surrendered to
the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund the following property as no longer required:
One (1) Underwood typewriter, No. 333,626-5

In a communication dated December 24, 1915, the City Chamberlain requested the assignment of the property above referred to. The adoption of the attached resolution authorizing the assignment is therefore recommended.

The Deputy and Acting Comptroller presented the following report and offered the following resolution:

To the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund, The City of New York:
Gentlemen-On December 21, 1915, the Committee on Revision of the Building
Code surrendered to the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund the following property
as no longer required:

One (1) oak rolltop desk, flat roll; one (1) oak rolltop desk, ordinary; one (1) oak rolltop typewriter desk; one (1) revolving chair; one (1) filing cabinet and base, oak, 15 compartments; one (1) metal document filing stack, 42 compartments; two (2) waste baskets.

In a communication dated December 27, 1915, the Department of Correction requested the assignment of the property above referred to for the use of the new Parole Commission. Department of Finance-Assignment to, of One Combination Letter Copying
Bath and Press, Turned Over by Board of Water Supply.
The Deputy and Acting Comptroller presented the following report and offered
the following resolution:

December 30, 1915.

To the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund, The City of New York:

Gentlemen-On November 23, 1915, the Board of Water Supply surrendered to the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund the following property as no longer required: One (1) G. W. Jean Company's combination letter copying bath and press, including one hundred (100) copying cloths, more or less.

In a communication, dated December 20, 1915, the Department of Finance requested the assignment of the property above referred to. The adoption of the attached resolution authorizing the assignment is therefore recommended.

No. 2241, complete; one (1) Buff & Buff transit. No. 4477, complete; six (6) plummet lamps; two (2) 24-oz. plumb bobs; two (2) 6-foot steel sight rods; two (2) K. & E. planimeters; one (1) Buff & Buff trivet.

The Deputy and Acting Comptroller presented the following report and offered the following resolution:

December 29, 1915.

To the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund, The City of New York: Gentlemen-On December 8, 1915, the Department of Education surrendered to the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund the following property as no longer required:

One (1) "Indian" motorcycle.

In a communication dated December 17, 1915, the Board of Water Supply requested the assignment of the property above referred to. The adoption of the attached resolution authorizing the assignment is therefore recommended. ALEX. BRÕUGH, Deputy and Acting Comptroller.

December 29, 1915.

To the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund, The City of New York: Gentlemen-On December 14, 1915, the Department of Public Charities surrendered to the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund the following property as no longer required:

One (1) black horse, one (1) roan horse.

In a communication dated December 15, 1915, the Department of Correction requested the assignment of the property above referred to. The adoption of the attached resolution authorizing the assignment is therefore recommended. ALEX, BROUGH, Deputy and Acting Comptroller.

Park Department, Bronx-Assignment to, of 11,445 Cubic Yards of Broken Stone, Turned Over by Department of Water Supply, Gas and Electricity. The Deputy and Acting Comptroller presented the following report and offered the following resolution:

January 5, 1916. To the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund, The City of New York: Gentlemen-On December 21, 1915, the Department of Water Supply, Gas and Electricity surrendered to the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund the following property as no longer required:

Eleven thousand four hundred and forty-five cubic yards of broken stone, located in the eastern basin of the Jerome Park Reservoir.

In a communication dated December 23, 1915, the Department of Parks, Borough of The Bronx, requested the assignment of the property above referred to. The adoption of the attached resolution authorizing the assignment is therefore recommended. Respectfully, ALEX. BROUGH, Deputy and Acting Comptroller.

Resolved, That pursuant to the provisions of section 205 of the Greater New York Charter, as amended, the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund hereby assign to the Department of Parks, Borough of The Bronx, the following property turned over by the Department of Water Supply, Gas and Electricity as no longer required:

Eleven thousand four hundred and forty-five cubic yards of broken stone, located in the eastern basin of the Jerome Park Reservoir.

The report was accepted and the resolution unanimously adopted.

Board of Estimate and Apportionment-Assignment to, of Cube Mould and Clamps, Etc., Turned Over by the Department of Water Supply, Gas and Electricity.

The Deputy and Acting Comptroller presented the following report and offered the following resolution:

January 5, 1916. To the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund, The City of New York: Gentlemen-On December 23, 1915, the Department of Water Supply, Gas and Electricity surrendered to the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund the following property as no longer required:

One (1) cube mould and clamps; one (1) set of cement sieves (100 and 200); three (3) Jackson specific gravity apparatus; one (1) Abbe 4-jar ball mill; one (1) coal sampler; two (2) Mahler bomb calorimeters with 3 bombs; three (3) Beekman thermometers; five (5) Golaz thermometers; one (1) one-half minute clock; five (5) oxygen cylinders; coal sieves (brass 5" 2-60 and 1-100); one (1) electro deposition apparatus for rotating anodes; seven (7) Hempel pipettes (3 single, 4 double); one (1) sulphur in gas apparatus (incomplete); one (1) Cleveland open-cup flash tester; one (1) Tagliabue open-cup flash tester; one (1) rubber test piece buffer; one (1) Schopper rubber testing machine with specimen cutter.

In a communication dated December 24, 1915, the Bureau of Contract Supervision of the Board of Estimate and Apportionment requested the assigament of the property above referred to. The adoption of the attached resolution authorizing the assignment is therefore recommended. Respectfully.
