PORT AND HARBOR FACILITIES PIERS, WHARVES, AND DOCKS The two piers at the port were constructed and are operated by the Board of Harbor Commissioners of the Territory of Hawaii. They provide a total of 989 feet of berthing space, having a depth of 35 feet, and are connected with the 30-inch gage Lihue Plantation Railroad.
