Attached to the almshouse are 250 acres of land, 115 of which are reported to be under cultivation; value of land and buildings, $40,000; estimated value of labor of inmates during the year, $300; estimated value of the products of the farm, $5,501.62; receipts from sales, $1,598.33.

Expenses in connection with the almshouse for the year ending September 30, 1904, $10,266.38; estimated weekly expense per person, $3.10; expense of temporary (outdoor) relief administered by the superintendents and overseers of the poor, $2,693.44; expense of support in whole or in part in institutions other than the almshouse, $120; aggregate expenditures for support and relief, $13,079.82.

Total number of inmates in the almshouse during the year, 67; remaining October 1, 1904, 46 (27 males and 19 females), including 15 feeble-minded or idiotic, 1 epileptic, 2 blind and 1 deaf person; number of wayfarers to whom meals were furnished at the almshouse, 1; number receiving temporary (outdoor) relief, 222; number supported in other institutions, 9; total supported and relieved during the year, 299.
