Attached to the almshouse are 200 acres of land. 140 of which are reported to be under cultivation; value of land and buildings. $50,000; estimated value of the labor of inmates during the year $500; estimated value of the products of the farm $1.500; receipts from sales, $9.45.

Expenses in connection with the alinshouse for the year ending September 30, 1904, $16363.27; estimated weekly expense per person, $3.25: expense of temporary outdoor relief administered by the overseers of the poor, $5,370.75; expense of support in whole or in part in institutions other than the almshouse, $2. 983.46; aggregate expenditures for support and relief, exclusive of Kingston city, $24.717.51.

Total number in the almshouse during the year, 138; remaining October 1, 1904, 92 (60 males and 32 females) ineluding 10 feebleminded or idiotic persons: number of wayfarers to whom meals were furnished at the almshouse. 1011; number receiving tempor ary (outdoor) relief, 806; number supported in other institutions. 49; total supported and relieved during the year, 2004.

Expenses in connection with the almshouse for the year ending September 30, 1904. $10,923.43; estimated weekly expense per person, $2.30; expense of temporary (outdoor) relief adminis

tered by the superintendent, $7,252.57; expense of support in institutions other than the almshouse, $2,261.42; aggregate expenditures for support and relief, $20,437.42.

Total number of inmates in the almshouse during the year, 83; remaining October 1, 1904, 52 (35 males and 17 females), including 8 feeble-minded or idiotic and 4 blind persons; number of wayfarers to whom meals were furnished at the almshouse, 1,007; number receiving temporary (outdoor) relief, 703; number supported in other institutions, 19; total supported and relieved dur ing the year, 1,812.

Object. To erect, establish, maintain and operate a hospital for the reception, care, maintenance, giving of medical and surgical advice, aid and treatment of persons afflicted with maladies or physical injuries or physical weaknesses or deformities or infirmities and to render medical and surgical aid, advice and treatment to poor persons in need of such treatment without charge therefor.

Terms and qualifications for admittance.-The hospital is free to those who cannot pay; for paying patients seven dollars and upward per week. Persons suffering from acute diseases or accident, are received.
