SECTION 1. AN ACT

To authorize the trustees of the Associate Presbyterian or Secession congregation of Mercer to execute a deed to James Magoffin, junior, for two lots of ground in the borough of Mercer.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re presentatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That James Morehead, James Magoffin, junior, Samuel Thompson, Livingston Carman and David Garvin, all of the county of Mercer, or a majority of them, who hold in trust two lots of ground in the borough of Mercer, for the Associate Presbyterian or Secession congregation of Mercer, be, and they are hereby authorized to make and execute to Doctor James Magoffin, junior, a deed in fee simple for the said two lots described as follows, to wit: situated in the borough and county of Mercer, and numbered in the general draft thereof forty-three and forty-four; bounded west by the turnpike, south and east by alleys, and north by lots of Benjamin Heartly: Provided, however, that nothing in this act contained shall authorize the making and executing said deed until the said James Magoffin shall have paid (if not already done) the full amount of the purchase money mentioned in the deed granting said lots to

AN ACT

For the relief of Peter Gerhart, Henry Snyder, and John Wilfong, soldiers, and Catharine Nungesser, Catharine Curry and Barbara Stalile, the widows of revolutionary soldiers.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re presentatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the State Treasurer be, and he is hereby authorized and required to pay to Peter Gerhart, of Columbia county, Henry Snyder, of Adams county, and John Wilfong, of Montgomery county, soldiers of the revolution, or to their respective orders, forty dollars to each immediately, and an annuity of forty dollars to each during life, payable half yearly, to com mence on the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-four.

SECTION 2. The State Treasurer is hereby authorized and required to pay to Catharine Nungesser, of Columbia county, Catharine Curry, of Allegheny county, and Barbara Stahle, of Lancaster county, the widows of revolutionary soldiers, or to their respective orders, forty dollars to each immediately, and an annuity of forty dollars to each during life, payable half yearly, to commence on the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-four.

AN ACT

Making an appropriation for the repair of the Pittsburg and Butler turnpike road.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the sum of two thousand five hundred dollars be,
