The power to sell certain real estate of Patrick Farrelly, late of Meadville, Crawford county, by the twentyninth section of the act, passed on the fourth of April, one thou sand, eight hundred and thirty-one, entitled "An act relative to real estate, and vesting the interest of this Commonwealth in escheated estates, in certain persons therein named," given to David Derickson, then administrator of the said estate, but who has since relinquished his administrationship, and been released therefrom by the proper court, is hereby transferred to, and vested in John Wilson Farrelly, now administrator of the estate of the said Patrick, to be exercised by the said John Wilson Farrelly upon the same terms and conditions, and subject to the same restrictions and provisions as in, and by the said twenty-. ninth section of the said act are imposed upon the said David Derickson. 1 SECTION 4. Price, all of the city of Philadelphia, or the survivor or survivors of them, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to sell at public or private sale, for cash or on' credit, as they may think best, all the share or shares, part or parts, right, title, interest, and estate of Joseph K. Arthur, W. & Francis K. Howell minor children, and heirs at law of Harriet K. Preamble, On what parts of the river the money is to be expend ed, &c. Commiss'n'rs appointed. No. 89. AN ACT For improving the navigation of the Susquehanna river. WHEREAS, By a supplement to an' act approved the twentyfifth day of March, Anno Domini, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-five, the sum of thirty thousand dollars is appropri ated to the improvement of the Susquehanna river: And whereas, Ten thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight dollars of the above appropriation has not been expended or drawn from the treasury of the Commonwealth: Therefore, SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That two thousand dollars of the said unexpended appropriation, is hereby transferred to the improvement of the Susquehanna above the mouth of the Sinnamehoning, in the following proportions and manner :-Five hundred dollars to that part of the river situate above the mouth of the Sinnamehoning creek, in Lycoming county, and extending to the mouth of Clearfield creek, in Clearfield county; and one thousand dollars is to be expended on that part of the river extending from the mouth of Clearfield creek to the Canoe place, in Cambria county; and the remaining five hundred dollars, is to be expended on the Clearfield branch of said river, from its mouth to the head of navigation thereof; and the following named persons are hereby appointed commissioners for the several sections aforesaid Thomas Reed, for that section of the river lying between the mouth of the Sinnamehoning and Clearfield creeks; Arthur Bell and John Mehaffy, junior, for that section of the river lying between the mouth of Clearfield creek and Canoe place; Isaiah H. Warrick, for the Clearfield branch of said river-each of whom shall give bond, with good security, to the Common- To give bond, wealth, conditioned for the faithful discharge of his duty; and &c. the Governor is hereby authorized to draw his warrant on the State Treasurer, in favour of said commissioners, for the sums respectively mentioned, as soon as bond shall have been given and filed in the office of the Secretary of State as aforesaid. SECTION 2. Each of the said commissioners shall, for his services, receive the sum of one dollar and twenty-five cents Compensato per day, to be paid by the county of Clearfield, on orders drawn and duties. by the commissioners of the county on the treasurer thereof, which said sum shall be his sole compensation, for every day necessarily spent by him in performing his duties as aforesaid; and the said commissioners shall proceed, with the least possible delay, in removing from their several sections such obstractions as they may deem most injurious to the navigation, and render, on oath, to the Auditor General, a statement of their accounts, within one year after the passage of this act. SECTION 3.
