CHAPTER 1

AN ACT making deficiency appropriations for the support of government Became a law January 13, 1953, on message from the Governor, pursuant to provisions of the Constitution. Passed, by a majority vote, three-fifths being present

The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

Section 1. The several amounts named in this section, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to accomplish the purpose designated by the appropriations, are hereby appropriated and authorized to be paid as hereinafter provided, to the respective public officers and for the several purposes specified, which amounts shall be immediately available for payment when this act becomes a law.

CHAPTER 2

AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to the registration of agricultural trucks

tural, vegetable and food products of the soil (b) the raising, feeding and care of live stock, bees and poultry or (c) dairy farming. Such agricultural truck shall be used only for the transportation of his own agricultural or dairy commodities or supplies or for personal passenger use, or used in conjunction with lumbering operations connected with but only incidental to the operation of a farm. No person may register more than three agricultural trucks under the provisions of this schedule in any one year.

3. A motor vehicle, registered as an "agricultural truck" under this schedule, shall be operated on the public highways only for the purposes set forth in paragraph two hereof.

§ 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall apply to registration fees for registration years commencing on and after January first, nineteen hundred fifty-three.

CHAPTER 3

AN ACT to extend for a limited period the time within which registrations in effect on December thirty-first, nineteen hundred fifty-two for auto trucks, light delivery cars, tractors and trailers may be used

The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any other law the registration of any auto truck, light delivery car, tractor or trailer in effect on the thirty-first day of December nineteen hundred fifty-two, for which fees are provided in subdivisions seven and eight of section eleven of the vehicle and traffic law, may be used through March second, nineteen hundred fifty-three.

§ 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

CHAPTER 4

AN ACT to amend chapter four hundred seventy-nine of the laws of nineteen hundred fifty-two, entitled "An act to create a temporary state commission on the use of television for educational purposes, and making an appropriation therefor", in relation to extending the time for the commission to make its report

Section 1. Section eight of chapter four hundred seventy-nine of the laws of nineteen hundred fifty-two, entitled "An act to create a temporary state commission on the use of television for educational purposes, and making an appropriation therefor", is hereby amended to read as follows:
