ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: Family Services Association seeks to strengthen family life by assisting local family agencies to conduct programs targeted on the particular needs of their communities, and also by acting as the national spokesperson on policy issues which relate to families. The Association offers consultation and technical assistance, research, policy analysis and development, and public education to member agencies. Some member agencies have developed programs in family life education, family advocacy, family counseling, and family planning.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: International Association of Counseling Services (IACS), an affiliate of the American Personal and Guidance Association, is an association which accredits well qualified counseling services throughout the United States and Canada. The basic purposes of IACS are to encourage and aid counseling services to meet high professional standards, to inform the public about those services which are competent and reliable, and to foster communications between counseling services operating in a variety of settings. IACS is the only accrediting association of counseling services nationwide.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: The National Alliance for Optional Parenthood (NAOP) is a membership organization of married and single individuals who are devoted to promoting effective and responsible decision making about parenting and non-parenting. The organization's goal is to make the "childfree" life style a realistic, socially accepted and respected option. NAOP's special projects include: a Speakers Bureau; Am I Parent Material? a Teenage Pregnancy Project; and development of a manual for professionals on Fertility Counseling.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: The National Assembly is a membership organization of voluntary social welfare and health organizations. The purpose of the organization is to develop and implement sound, progressive social policies and programs to conserve and improve human resources in the United States. The organization seeks to accomplish its goal by creating a mechanism for interagency communication and cooperation among member agencies. To promote interagency collaboration, the Assembly provides administrative support and other services to the National Collaboration for Youth; sponsors the National Juvenile Justice Collaboration Program, a grant from the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration, to develop the capacity of voluntary organizations to serve the needs of status offenders and other youth at risk. The Assembly sponsors a host of different projects to accomplish its goals.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: The National Association of Community Health Centers, Inc. (NACHC) is a national network of ambulatory health care programs joined together to assure the continued growth and development of community health care programs. NACHC represents family health centers, community and neighborhood health centers, migrant health programs, rural and Indian health programs and maternal and infant care programs. NACHC provides technical assistance to its member agencies and addresses itself to specific concerns of health care delivery, financing and public access to quality health care.
