or of any Sum or Sums of Money at ftated Periods
(not being Intereft for any principal Sum, or Rent
referved, or made payable upon any Leafe) for any
definite and certain Term, so that the total Amount of
the Money to be paid can be previously ascertained

ful Discharge of any Truft repofed in any Person as a
Clerk, and to account for Money received
BOND given pursuant to the Directions of any A& of
Parliament, or by the Direction of the Commiffioners
of Cuftoms and Port Duties, or the Commiffioners of
Inland Excife and Taxes, or any of their Officers, for

or in respect of any of the Duties of Cuftoms or Ex-
cife, or Taxes, or for preventing Frauds or Evafions
thereof, or for any other matter or thing relating
thereto

BOND on obtaining Letters of Administration

BOND of any kind whatsoever, not otherwife charged in
this Act or Schedule, nor exprefsly exempted from all
Stamp Duty

GENERAL DIRECTIONS refpecting BONDS.
Where any fuch Bond as aforefaid, together with
any Schedule, Receipt or other matter, put
or indorfed thereon, fhall be written on more
than one Skin or Piece of Vellum or Parch-
ment, or on more than one Sheet of Paper,
there fhall be charged for every Skin or Piece
of Vellum or Parchment, or Sheet of Paper,
as aforefaid, beyond the firft, a Duty of
Where any fuch Bond as aforefaid shall be given

as a Security for the Payment of any Sum
of Money, and alfo for the Transfer of a
Share in any of the Stocks or Funds before
mentioned, and an Annuity, or for any Two
of fuch Purposes, the proper ad valorem
Duty fhall be charged in refpect of a Sum
compofed of fuch Sum of Money, and the
Value of fuch Share and Annuity, or either
of them, fuch Value to be afcertained as
herein directed. (See CONVEYANCE.)
And where any fuch Bond as aforefaid fhall be
given as a Security for the Payment or
Transfer, to different Perfons, of separate
and diftinct Values, whether confifting re-
fpectively of Sums of Money, and Annuities
and Shares, in any of the Stocks or Funds
before mentioned, or of any One or Two of
fuch matters, the proper ad valorem Duty
fhall be charged in refpect of each fuch
Tranfaction feparately, and not upon the
aggregate Amount thereof.

And where any Bond fhall be given as a Security
for the Performance of any Covenant or
Agreement for the Payment or Transfer of
any of the faid matters before mentioned,
fuch Bond fhall be charged with the fame
Duty as if the fame had been immediately
given for the Payment or Transfer thereof.
And where any Bond for the Payment or Tranf-
fer of any of the said matters, or for the Per-
formance of any Covenant for fuch Payment
or Transfer, fhall be contained in one and

the fame Deed or Writing, with any other
matter or thing, in this Schedule specifically
charged with any Duty (except any Decla-
ration of Truft for the Money, Annuity, Stock
or Fund fecured) fuch Deed or Writing
fhall be charged with the fame Duties as
would have been chargeable in respect of the
faid feveral matters therein, if contained in
separate Deeds.

But where a Bond for the Performance of Cove-
nants or Agreements (other than for the
Payment or Transfer of any Sum of Money
or Annuity or any Share in any of the faid
Stocks or Funds) fhall be contained in the
fame Deed or Writing with any other matter
or thing, the fame fhall not be charged fepa-
rately, but the whole fhall be confidered as
One Deed, and be charged accordingly under
its proper Denomination.

Exemptions from the preceding and all other
Stamp Duties.

Adminiftration Bonds, given by the Widow, Child,
Father, Mother, Brother or Sifter of any
Common Seaman, Marine or Soldier, who
fball be flain or die in the Service of His
Majefty, his Heirs or Succeffors.

Adminiftration Bond given by any Perfon, where
the Eftate to be administered shall not exceed
201. in Value.

Bonds to procure the Admiffion of any Child into
any Charitable Inftitution.

CERTIFICATE of having registered a Deputation as a
Gamekeeper

CERTIFICATE to authorize any Perfon not being a
Gamekeeper to kill Game in Ireland

CERTIFICATE to entitle any Perfon to receive a Draw-
back of any Duty.-See DEBENTure.

CERTIFICATE to be taken out yearly by every Person
admitted to practise as a Six Clerk in Chancery; and
by every Perfon admitted as an Attorney or Solicitor
in any of His Majefty's Superior Courts in Dublin ;
and by every Perfon admitted as a Solicitor, Agent,
Attorney or Procurator, in any other Court in Ireland
holding Plea, where the Damage doth exceed Forty
Shillings;

If fuch Six Clerk, Attorney or Solicitor, Agent
or Procurator, has been admitted for Three
Years and upwards

Or if he fhall not have been admitted for Three
Years

CERTIFICATE to be taken out yearly by every Perfon, who in any Character whether as Conveyancer, Draftsman, Land Agent, Steward of an Eftate or otherwise, fhall for or in Expectation of any Fee, Gain or Reward, draw, fill up or prepare any Conveyance, Deed or Inftrument, or Leafe, or Agreement for a Leafe, of or relating to any Eftate or Property, Real or Perfonal, or any other Deed or Contract whatever, or any Pleadings or Proceedings in any Court of Law or Equity

Exemptions.

Serjeants at Law and Barriflers, and alfo At-
tornies, Solicitors, Prodors and Notaries
Public, and other Perfons acting as fuch by
virtue of any Office or Appointment, who
fball refpe&ively take out Certificates in thofe

Charaders.

Public Officers drawing or preparing Deeds or
other Inftruments by virtue of their Office,
and in the Courfe of their official Duty only,
and not otherwife.

CERTIFICATE to be taken out yearly by every Perfon
admitted as a Proctor in any of the Ecclefiaftical or
Admiralty Courts in Dublin;

If fuch Proctor has been admitted for Three
Years or upwards

If he fhall not have been admitted for Three

Years

The above Certificate to authorize the
Party obtaining the fame to
practife as a Proctor in any
Court in Ireland.

CERTIFICATE to be taken out yearly by every Perfon
admitted, or who fhall practife as a Proctor in any
Ecclefiaftical Court in any other Part of Ireland;

If fuch Perfon has been admitted for Three
Years or upwards

Or if he fhall not have been admitted for Three

CERTIFICATE to be taken out yearly by any Banker
or Bankers, or Perfon or Perfons acting as fuch, of
having registered the Firm of his or their House
according to Law;

If fuch Banker or Bankers, or other Perfon or
Perfons, fhall iffue any Promiffory Notes
for Money payable to Bearer on Demand,
and allowed to be reiffued

CHARTER PARTY, or any Agreement or Contract
for the Charter of any Ship or Veffel, or any Me-
morandum, Letter or other Writing, between the
-Captain, Mafter or Owner, of any Ship or Veffel,

COLLATION by any Archbishop or Bishop to any
Ecclefiaftical Benefice, Dignity or Promotion, in
Ireland, of the yearly Value of 100l.

And for every 100l. of the yearly Value
thereof, exceeding the firft 100l. a Year, a
further Duty of

ficate of the Archbishop, Bishop
or Vicar General of the Diocese";
provided always, that Two or
more Benefices, epifcopally united,
fhall be deemed One Benefice
only.

COLLATION by any Archbishop or Bishop to any
other Ecclefiaftical Benefice, Dignity, Curacy or

COMPOSITION DEED, or other Inftrument of Com-
pofition between a Debtor or Debtors and his, her
or their Creditors
CONSTAT of Letters Patent.- See EXEMPLIFICATION.
CONVEYANCE, whether Grant, Affignment, Transfer,

Release, Renunciation or of any other Kind or
Description whatsoever, upon the Sale, Settlement
or Conveyance of any Lands, Tenements, Rents,
Annuities or other Property, Real or Perfonal, or of
any Right, Title, Intereft or Claim into, out of or
upon any Lands, Tenements, Rents, Annuities or
other Property whatsoever, in Ireland, which fhall
be executed by the Grantor or Grantors or any
of
them, not otherwife charged in this Schedule;

Where the Confideration therein or thereupon
expreffed fhall not exceed 100l.
