other Instrument, whereby any Perfon fhall firft become bound to ferve as a Clerk, or an Apprentice, in order to his Admiffion as a Proctor in any other Court in Ireland, on each Part of fuch Articles or Contract ARTICLES of APPRENTICESHIP, Indenture or other Inftrument, whereby any Person shall first become bound to ferve as a Clerk or an Apprentice, in order to his Admiffion into the Court of Admiralty in Ireland, on each Part of fuch Articles or Contract ARTICLES of APPRENTICESHIP, Indenture or other Inftrument, for binding a Clerk or an Apprentice to a Notary Public, in order to his becoming a Notary Public, on each Part of fuch Articles ARTICLES of APPRENTICESHIP, Indenture or other Inftrument or Contract whereby any Perfon fhall become bound to ferve as a Clerk or Apprentice, in order to his Admiffion as a Proctor, or as a Notary Public, in any of the Courts aforefaid, for the Refidue of the Term for which he was originally bound, in confequence of the Death of his former Master, or of the Contract between them being vacated, or in any other Event

ASSIGNMENT of JUDGMENTS. -For each Judg- ment affigned;
Where the Penalty of any fuch Judgment affigned fhall not amount to 500l.
Where fuch Penalty fhall amount to 500l. and fhall not amount to 1,000l.
Where fuch Penalty shall amount to 1,000l. and fhall not amount to 2,000l.
Where fuch Penalty fhall amount to 2,000l. and shall not amount to 4,000l.

ASSIGNMENT of any Policy of Infurance..
AWARD under Hand and Seal, or under Hand only, made in Ireland, and whether the same shall or shall not be enrolled of Record in, or made a Rule of any Court BARGAIN and SALE of any Eftate, upon the Sale thereof, or by way of Mortgage.—See CONVEYANCE, MORTGAGE.
BARGAIN and SALE, to be enrolled, of any Estate, over and above all other Duties, for every Skin or Piece of Vellum or Parchment, or Sheet or Piece of Paper, which the fame fhall contain BILL; viz. INLAND BILL OF EXCHANGE, Promiffory Note or other Note, whether of Bankers or otherwife, or Poft Bill, or any Draft or Order for the Payment to the Bearer or to Order, either on De- mand or otherwife, of any Sum of Money, not otherwife charged or expressly exempted;
Where the Sum therein expreffed shall not exceed Iol.
Where the Sum fhall exceed 10l. and shall not exceed 30l.
Where the Sum fhall exceed 30l. and fhall not exceed 5ol.
Where the Sum fhall exceed 50l. and fhall not exceed 100l.
Where the Sum fhall exceed 500l. and shall not exceed 1,000l.
Where the Sun fhall exceed 1,000l. and shall not exceed 3,000l.
Where fuch Sum fhall exceed 3,000l.
BILL; viz. INLAND BILL, Draft or Order, for the Payment of any Sum of Money, though not made pay- able to the Bearer or to Order, if the fame fhall be delivered to the Payee, or some Perfon on his or her behalf BILL; viz. INLAND BILL, Draft or Order, for the Payment of any Sum of Money weekly, monthly or at any other stated Periods, if made payable to Bearer or to Order, or to the Payee, or some Perfon on his or her behalf, or which fhall be delivered to the Payee, or fuch Perfon where the total Amount of the Money thereby made payable fhall be specified therein, or can be afcertained therefrom
The fame Duty as on a Bill of Exchange for the like Sum payable to Bearer or Order.
The fame Duty as on a Bill payable to Bearer or Order for a Sum equal to fuch Total Amount.
And where the total Amount of the Money thereby made payable fhall be indefinite
And the following Inftruments fhall be deemed and taken to be Inland Bills, Promiffory Notes, Poft Bills, Drafts or Orders for the Payment of Mo- ney, within the Intent and meaning of this Act and Schedule; and of all Acts in any wife relating to the levying, collecting or regulating any Stamp Duty or Duties whatsoever, in Ireland: All Inland Bills, Promiffory Notes, Poft Bills, Drafts or Orders for the Payment of any Sum of Mo- ney, either in Cafh or by a Bill or Bills, or Pro- miffory Note or Notes, or by any Paper, or by Security or otherwise, or for the Delivery of any fuch Bill or Bills, or Note or Notes, Paper Se- curity or other matter, in Payment or Satisfac- tion of any Sum of Money, where fuch Inland Bills, Promiffory Notes, Poft Bills, Drafts or Orders, fhall require the Payment or Delivery to be made to the Bearer or to Order, or to the Payee, or if delivered to the Payee, or some Per- fon on his or her behalf.
All Receipts given by any Banker or Bankers, or other Perfon or Perfons, for Money received, which fhall entitle, or be intended to entitle, the Perfon or Perfons paying the Money, or the Bearer of fuch Receipts, to receive the like Sum from any third Perfon or Perfons.
And all Bills, Promiffory Notes, Poft Bills, Drafts or Orders, for the Payment of any Sum of Money out of any particular Fund which may or may not be available, or upon any Condition or Con- tingency which may or may not be performed or happen, if the fame shall be made payable to the Bearer, or to Order, or to the Payee, or if the fame shall be delivered to the Payee, or some Per- fon on his or her behalf.
BILL; viz. Foreign Bill of Exchange, or Bill drawn in Ireland, but payable elsewhere out of Ireland,
If drawn in Sets, according to the Custom of Merchants, for every Bill of each Set, where the Sum made payable thereby shall not exceed 1ool.
And where it fhall exceed 5ool. and not exceed 1,000l.
And where it shall exceed 1,000l. and not exceed 2,000l.
And where it fhall exceed 2,000l. and not exceed 3,000l.
And where it fhall exceed 3,000l.
Exemptions from the preceding and all other Stamp Duties.
Bank Notes and Bank Poft Bills not other wife charged; Promiffory Nates for any Sum not exceeding 21. 10s. paffed on Account of Tithes, or for Money lent by, or payable to, any Society for Charitable Loan, or by or to their Truflees, in Truft for them.
All Drafts ar Qrders for the Payment of any Sum of Money to the Bearer on Demand, and drawn upon any Banker or Bankers, who fball refide or tranfact the Business of a Banker, within Ten Miles of the Place where fuch Drafts or Orders fhall be drawn; pro- vided fuch Place shall be specified in fuch Drafts or Orders, and provided fuch Drafts or Orders fhall bear Date on or before the Day on which the fame fhall be issued; and provided the fame do not direct the Payment to be made by Bills or Promiffory Notes. All Bills for the Pay and Allowances of His Majefty's Land Forces, or for the Expendi tures liable to be charged in the public Regi- mental or Difria Accounts, which shall be drawn according to the Forms now preferibed or hereafter to be prescribed by His Majesty's Orders, by the Paymasters of Recruiting Dif tricts, or by the Paymafters of Detachments, or by the Officer or Officers authorized to per- form the Duties of Paymasterfhip during a Vacancy, or the Abfence, Sufpenfion or Inca pacity of any fuck Paymaster as aforefaid; fave and except fuch Bills as fhall be drawn in Favour of Contractors or others, who fur- nifb Bread or Forage to His Majesty's Troops, and who by their Contracts and Agreements ball be liable to pay the Stamp Duties on the Bills given in Payment for the Articles fupplied by them.
BILL of LADING, which shall be figned of or for any Goods, Merchandize or Effects, to be exported or carried Coaftways, upon each and every Part of each Set thereof
BILL of SALE abfolute.-See CONVEYANce.
BILL of SALE as a Security. See MORTGAGE. BOND, or other obligatory Inftrument, conditioned for the Payment of any principal Sum, not otherwise particu- larly charged, not exceeding 100l.
Exceeding 100l. and not exceeding 200l. Exceeding 200l. and not exceeding 300l. Exceeding 300l. and not exceeding 500l. Exceeding 500l. and not exceeding 1,000l. Exceeding 1,000l. and not exceeding 2,000l. Exceeding 2,000l. and not exceeding 3,000l. Exceeding 3,00ol. and not exceeding 4,000l. Exceeding 4,00ol. and not exceeding 5,000l. Exceeding 5,000!!
BOND given as a Security for the Repayment of any Sum or Sums of Money to be thereafter lent, advanced or paid, or which may become due upon an Account Current, whether together with, or without any Sum already advanced;
Where the total Amount of the Money fecured, or to be ultimately recoverable, fhall be un- certain and without any Limit
And where the Money fecured, or to be ulti- mately recoverable thereupon, fhall be limited not to exceed a given Sum
BOND given as a Security for the Transfer or Retransfer of Share in any of the Government or Parliamentary Stocks or Funds, or in the Stocks or Funds of the Governor and Company of the Bank of Ireland, or of any other Company or Corporation
BOND commonly called a Mortgage, or Annuity Bond, or Bond given as a collateral Security for or in refpect of any Mortgage or Annuity BOND entered into by any Perfon on obtaining a Marriage Licence
BOND given as the only or principal Security for the Pay- ment of any Annuity upon the original Creation and Sale thereof.-See CONVEYANCE upon the Sale of Lands, &c.
