A stunning book in latin about the anatomy of plants. It has been either updated since the 1675 version or covers different topics, I'm afriad my latin is not quite good enough to distinguish this. The book shows the voyage of discovery due to the invention of higher powered microscopes and even details the hairs on the aerial rootlets of ivy which are a mere 250 microns long.
It is a joy to see the range of books now freely available through Google.
