OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE COM-
MONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY.

CHAP. 1-AN ACT to continue in force an act, entitled, "an act concerning the Bank of Kentucky."

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, That an act entitled, “an act concerning the Bank of Kentucky" approved, January the thirtieth, eighteen hundred and twentyeight, shall be, and the same is hereby continued in force until the first day of May, 'eighteen hundred and thirty six, subject to such alterations and modifications as the legislature may hereafter declare.

CHAP. 2.-AN ACT to allow the Independent Banks of this
Commonwealth further time to collect and settle their con-

cerns.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, That the further time of three years, from and after the passage of this act, be allowed the several Independent Banks of this commonwealth to collect the debts and settle their concerns; and, during that time, their agents may respectively sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, and prosecute suits now depending in all courts of justice, as fully and completely as if the act approved February the fourth, eighteen hundred and twentyeight, entitled, "an act to authorize the stockholders of the late Independent Banks to elect agents to close the concerns of said Banks, and for other purposes," had not expired.

SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That the act approved, January the seventh eighteen hundred and thirty, entitled, "an act to allow the Independent Banks in this commonwealth further time to settle their concerns," and also the act, entitled, "an act to
