A bill was received from Dr. Sibbald for vaccination in the "Lower Merion District," on which the committee request action by the Board.

Your committee has received a communication from Dr. G. W. Titman, of Chestnut Hill, requesting information as to his duty in reference to the reporting of contagious diseases and deaths occurring in Montgomery county, in which a portion of his practice is located. Also, a reply to Dr. Titman's request from Mr. Wanger, district attorney of Montgomery county, to the effect that reports of contagious diseases are not required in that county, and that records of mortality, are not kept, except by the authorities of the various cemeteries, and, also, excepting deaths from accidents or for other reasons requiring legal investigations. This committee recommends the consideration

of this subject by the State Board.

The Executive Committee begs leave respectfully to report that since the last meeting of the Board it has held two special meetings, one at the executive office, Philadelphia, June 26, at which vouchers No. 208 to No. 220 were audited and approved, amounting to $869.22, and one at the supreme court room, Harrisburg, July 11, 1888, at which vouchers No. 221 to No. 228 were audited and approved, amounting to $266.35.

The Executive Committee begs leave respectfully to report that since the last regular meeting of the Board in July, it has held one regular and two special meetings.

At the special meeting held August 31, 1888, bills to the amount of four hundred and forty dollars and sixty-eight cents ($440.68), representing vouchers No. 232 to No. 237, inclusive, were audited and approved. At the regular meeting held October 24, 1888, bills to the amount of one hundred and ninety-one dollars and thirty-seven cents ($191.37), were audited and approved, representing vouchers No. 238 to No. 243, inclusive, and the Secretary was authorized to subscribe to a Journal of Veterinary Medicine.

At the special meeting held November 14, 1888, bills to the amount of five hundred and seventy-four dollars and fifty-six cents ($574.56), representing vouchers No. 244 and No. 245 were audited and approved.

The Secretary has been authorized to subscribe to a Journal of Veterinary Medicine, and to represent the Board in the Medical
