Using the strategists' own documents to show how our world is made, this is brilliant, ballsy. top-notch historical research that matters, by a scholar who, yes, is on the side of egaliberte, participation parity, democracy.
If you prefer elite-exclusive liberty, Herrenvolk democracy and slavery, say if you're paid to promote the conservatization of liberalism and the restoration of patrimonial capitalism, that this excellent research was done and that excellent book exists is a thorn in your side. You'll try to convince people you always see as your prey that there is no Merit TM in this study. Do what you do to stay paid.
Long live knowledge. Long live Enlightenment. Read this penetrating, quality historical study, and then read Jane McAlevey's "No Shortcuts." The global 1% have sequestered away the wealth of the world. It's time we made them, at the very least, pay for their marketeering and guard help. Or it's time we made the marketeers and jailers share our fate.

Riddled with errors, misrepresented quotes, wild speculation, demonstrated ignorance of the subject matter, and innuendo unsupported by documentation, this is the worst book I've read in years. The author's response to serious critiques by serious scholars has not been to engage engage with her critics, but to allege a vast conspiracy against her. The only positive is that it's well-written, so if you treat this as fiction rather than fact, it's not unpleasant to read.
