About the author (2004)

Elizabeth Baird has been the food editor for Canadian Living magazine since 1987. She has authored or co-authored numerous award-winning and bestselling cookbooks, including most recently Canadian Living Cooks, and was a founding board member of Breakfast for Learning. She lives with her husband, George, in Toronto.

The Canadian Living Test Kitchen is the largest media test kitchen in Canada, testing and/or creating nearly eight hundred recipes per year. A recipe is deemed to be “Tested Till Perfect” when it satisfies the high standards of the magazine, and Canadians trust Canadian Living’s recipes because of this rigorous testing and editing process.
