I first learnt of the term 'Puka Poo when in the early 1930's I lived in the East End of London in Limehouse.My grandmother would give me sixpence to go to the corner shop and buy a Puka Poo ticket which was an early form of Bingo.It was printed on a white piece of paper about six inches square and around the edge ran a green border with Chinese Characters in green.Super imposed on the green characters were written black Chinese characters.The prizes varied from two shillings to about five pounds.As I was only about nine or ten years of age I did not take a great deal of interest in this game.But I was aware that it was regularly played

No plot, no character development, not even a climax. This book is WAY too long and has no direction. Poorly written, too.
