An Act

To alter the time of holding the Courts in Susquehanna county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That so much of the act of the fourteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-four, as requires the courts in Susquehanna county to commence on the first Monday of December in each year, and continue one week, be and the same is hereby repealed, and, in lieu thereof, the said courts shall hereafter commence on the third Monday in November of each year, and continue two weeks: Provided, That the judges may at the preceding September term make and order that such November term shall continue one week only. An Act

For the relief of sundry soldiers and widows of soldiers of the revolu tionary war.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pensylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the State Treasurer is hereby authorized and required to pay to Andrew Ream, of Lancaster county, George Snell and Jacob Fleisher, of Berks county, and Conrad Huber, of Lehigh county, soldiers; and Elizabeth Smith, of Montgomery county, Susanna Rehrer, of Lancaster county, Elizabeth Geese and Catharine Wolbarn, of Lebanon county, the widows of revolutionary soldiers, or to their respective orders, forty dollars to each immediately, and an annuity of forty dollars to cach during life, payable half yearly, to commence on the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and thirtyfive.

SECTION 2. The State Treasurer is hereby authorized and required to pay to Anna Maria Rehrer, of Schuylkill county, Gratuity to a gratuity of forty dollars immediately, in full for her late A. Rehrer husband s revolutionary services, the foregoing gratuities and pensions to be paid in conformity to the existing laws.

An Act

To repeal so much of the act passed on the eighth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and thirty three, for incorporating certain bridge and turnpike companies, and for other purposes, as relates to the roads of St. Clair township, in Allegheny county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That so much of the act passed on the eighth day of

April, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-three, entitled An. act to authorize the Governor to incorporate sundry bridge and turnpike road companies, and for other purposes, as relates to the repair of the roads in St. Clair township, Allegheny county, (being the seventy-eighth and seventy-ninth sections of the said act,) be and the same is hereby repealed.

Shaefer, Frederick Marker and Henry Walter, soldiers, and Catharine
Bechgy, the widow of a revolutionary soldier.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Gentral Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the State Treasurer is hereby authorized and required to pay to George Miller of Schuylkill county, Daniel Deveny of Juniata county, Nicholas Groh of Berks county, and Frederick Marker of Delaware county, soldiers, and Catharine Bechgy of Northampton county, the widow of a revolutionary soldier, or to their respective orders, forty dollars to each immediately, and an annuity of forty dollars to each during life, payable half yearly, to commence on the first day of January, one thousand eight hundred and thirty-five.

SECTION 2. The State Treasurer is hereby authorized and required to pay to Henry Walter of Lancaster county, and John Shaefer of Philadelphia county, a gratuity of forty dollars to each, in full for their revolutionary services: the foregoing gratuities and pensions to be paid in conformity to the existing laws.

Providing for the maintenance of motive power on the rail-roads of this
Commonwealth.

SECTION 1. An Act

To authorize the commissioners of Tioga county to borrow money for the use of said county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of l'ennsylvania in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the sam, That the commissioners of the county of l'ioga, or a majority of them, be authorized to borrow, on such terms as they may deem most advantageous to the interest of said county, any sum or sums of money, not exceeding eight thousand dollars, for the purpose of erecting the public buildings of said county; and for the repayment of which they are hereby authorized to enter into such contract or contracts as shall pledge the credit of said county for the same, and hold their successors in office for the payment of the same, as shall be stipulated by said commissioners.
