That amendment has two purposes. First, it continues the avail ability of any unexpended balances in this appropriation which may remain on hand after June 30. A large part of our work is done by force account. The weather conditions hinder us at times, and it may be necessary to carry over some of the work into the next fiscal year. The second part of the amendment is to extend this appropriation Our appropriation, as we now have it, expires on June 30. for 2 years instead of 1 year. Our appropriations as they now are worded are 1-year appropriations.
