The following Journal of the Proceedings of the Delegates from the several Wards of the City of NewYork, which met in Convention, for the purpose of revising and amending the City Charter, is published in pursuance of a resolution of the Common Council of May 6th, 1835, in the following words, viz: "Resolved that the Clerk of the Common Council procure a copy of the Proceedings of the Convention for amending the Charter of the City of New-York, and that he furnish CHANCELLOR Kent with the same, to the end that it may be printed with the proposed new edition of the Charter."

FOR REVISING AND AMENDING THE CHARTER OF THE

CITY OF NEW-YORK.

AT a Meeting of Delegates from the several Wards of the City of New-York in Convention, for the purpose of revising and amending the City Charter, held in the Supreme Court room, at the city hall, in pursuance of a recommendation of the honorable the Common Council of said city, on Tuesday, the 23d day of June, in the year 1829.

The Clerk of the city and county of New-York attended with the returns of the election, filed in the office, by which it appears the following gentlemen are elected Delegates to this Convention.
