About the author (2012)

Michael Freeman is a renowned London-based international photographer and bestselling writer who specializes in travel, architecture, and Asian art. He has been principal photographer for "Smithsonian" magazine for many years, and has also worked for Time-Life Books and "Reader's Digest."
