About the author (1999)

A native of Pointe-Claire, Quebec, author Jane Barclay has been writing since she was a child. Early credits include "Cinderelish," an elementary school play that involved sock puppets and very bad singing. Luckily for all, Barclay's writing has matured. Her award-winning children's books include How Cold Was It? (Lobster Press, 1999), How Hot Was It? (Lobster Press, 2003), and Going on a Journey to the Sea (Lobster Press, 2002).
