ing required that a visit to the lodges in Massachusetts should be made, he had therefore deputized P. G. Sire Wildey to perform that duty. In pursuance of such appointment, he visited Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Delaware. Bills for the expenses attendant on the performance of those duties, have been submitted to the committee, amounting to $124 25, which the committee approve and recommend to be paid. HOWELL HOPKINS, CHARLES MOWATT, HENRY S. SANDERSON. On motion, the report was accepted, and the bills ordered to be paid. P. G. Sire Wildey offered the following resolution, which was adopted. Resolved, That after the printing of the present proceedings, there be not exceeding fifty copies of the Work of the Order and proceedings bound, and the initials of each state, district and territory on the cover-to be retained in the possession of this Grand Lodge. P. G. Sire Wildey offered the following resolution, which was adopted. Resolved, That from and after the 1836, each and every lodge and Encamp ment, working by authority derived from this Grand Lodge, shall charge the candidates or brothers, the following fees: For Initiation, not less than Provided, a majority of Grand Lodges shall, on or before the next Annual Session of this Grand Lodge, certify their willingness to the establishment of the above fees. Rep. Pearce, of New Jersey, moved that the blank be filled with the 31st December, which was determined in the affirmative. On motion of Rep. Hopkins, of Pennsylvania, various corrections were made in the printed copy of the proceedings of the last Annual Session. On motion, the Grand Lodge adjourned until four o'clock, this afternoon. SATURDAY, 4 o'clock, P. M. The Grand Lodge met pursuant to adjournment: Present, all the Officers, and a full representation. Rep. Hopkins, of Pennsylvania, from the Committee of Finance, presented the following report. To the R. W. Grand Lodge of the United States: The Committee of Finance respectfully report, that they have examined the account of A. Mathiot, Grand Treasurer, and compared it with the vouchers, and find his account correct, except two charges for money paid P. G. Sire Wildey, one for $11, the other $4 87, which sums were paid on orders drawn by G. Sire Gettys, without having been presented and approved by the Grand Lodge; and it now appears that the same amounts had been included in a former order drawn in favor of P. G. Sire Wildey, and which had been paid except the sum of $5, part thereof for which a bill has been presented, and ordered to be paid at the present Session of the Grand Lodge. The committee therefore disallow these two items, which will make the balance due Grand Lodge by Grand Treasurer, $94 47. All of which is respectfully submitted. HOWELL HOPKINS, On motion, the report was accepted. Secretary be authorized to receipt for all moneys received for the Plate. Which motion prevailed. P. G. Sire Wildey, offered the following resolutions, which were adop ted. Resolved, That this Grand Lodge cause to be prepared a Certificate or Diploma, to be issued to members in good standing, they paying the price therefor, which shall be fixed by the Grand Lodge-and Resolved, That a committee be appointed for the purpose of causing a plate to be engraved for such Certificate or Diploma. On motion, the Grand Sire; and Rep's Hopkins, of Pennsylvania; and Sanderson, of Ohio, were appointed the committee. Rep. Pearce, of New Jersey, called up for consideration the report of the committee on the Work of the Order, in relation to a Grand Encampment Degree, which was read. Rep. Ridgely, of Maryland, moved that the same be indefinitely postponed, which was determined in the negative. Rep. Hopkins, of Pennsylvania, moved to refer the same to a committee, which motion prevailed. Rep. Sanderson, of Ohio, moved that the committee consist of three, to be appointed by the Chair, which was decided in the affirmative. The Grand Sire appointed as the committee, Rep's Pearce, of New Jersey; Ridgely, of Maryland; and P. G. Sire Wildey. The proceedings of the Special Session, held the 1st of September, 1835, were read, and on motion adopted. Rep Mowatt, of New York, offered the following, which was unanimously adopted. Resolved, That the thanks of this Grand Lodge be tendered to the Grand Lodge of Maryland for the use of their Hall during the present Session. Rep. Mowatt, of New York, offered the following resolution, which which was adopted. Resolved, That the sum of ten dollars be paid to William Crouch, for his services as Grand Secretary, pro tem., during this Session of this Grand Lodge. Rep. Hopkins, of Pennsylvania, moved that the Grand Secretary be authorized to have printed with the proceedings, the amounts of moneys which may have come into his hands, subscribed for the Service of Plate, to P.
