The Subcommittee on Printing of the Committee on House Administration will come to order for the purpose of conducting hearings on H.R. 16902, and related bills, regarding the disposition and preservation of public documents of Federal officials. SHORT TITLE

SECTION 1. This Act may be cited as the "Public Docu

5 ments Act".

SEC. 2. Chapter 33 of title 44, United States Code, is

7 amended by adding at the end thereof the following new
