And be it further enacted by the authority aforefaid, that it fhall be lawful to and for the faid Commiffioners for the Internal Communications for the County of Kent, out of the fum of one thoufand Pounds, currency, herein-before authorized, to be applied for the County of Kent, to apply a fum not exceeding five hundred Pounds, currency, to improve and complete the Old Road leading to the Church of Longueil to Chambly, any thing in this Act contained to the contrary in any wife notwithstanding.

Et qu'il foit de plus ftatué par l'autorité susdite, qu'il fera loisible aux Commiffaires pour les Communications Intérieures du Comté de Kent, d'employer, fur le chemin entre la fomme de Mille Livres courant allouée comme ci-deffus pour être employée pour le Comté de Kent, une fomme n'excédant pas Cinq cents Livres courant pour améliorer et achever l'ancien Chemin conduifant de l'Eglife de Longueil à Chambly, nonobftant toutes choses contenues dans le préfent Acte à ce contraires.

XI, Et qu'il foit de plus ftatué par l'autorité fufdite, que les dits Commiffaires pour les Communications Intérieures ne pourront employer aucune partie des dits argens fans faire rapport de leurs procédés au Gouverneur, Lieutenant Gouverneur, ou à la Perfonne ayant l'Administration du Gouvernement de cette Province pour le tems d'alors, et fans avoir obtenu préalablement l'approbation du Gouverneur, Lieutenant Gouverneur ou de la Perfonne ayant l'Administration du Gouvernement de cette Province pour le tems d'alors, fur l'emploi projetté de tels argens.

XII. Et qu'il foit de plus ftatué par l'autorité fufdite, que les dits Commiffaires pour les Communications Intérieures, après avoir obtenu l'approbation du Gou verneur, Lieutenant Gouverneur ou de la Perfonne ayant l'Adminiftration du Gouvernement de cette Province pour le tems d'alors, comme ci-deffus prefcrit, pour faire faire aucun ouvrage comme fufdit, annonceront durant trois femaines dans la Gazette de Québec et dans aucun Papier-nouvel publié dans le Diftrict, qu'ils recevront des propofitions pour faire tel ouvrage, et ils requerront deux Cautions bonnes et fuffifantes, pour l'exécution de chaque Contract ou Marché qu'ils pourront faire, lefquels Contrats ou Marchés feront en outre foumis pour être approuvés par le Gouverneur, Lieutenant Gouverneur, ou la Perfonne ayant l'Adminiftration du Gouvernement de cette Province pour le tems d'alors.
