(d) In the place of Addison Gardiner, resigned, Vice Chancellor, ex officio, until May 1, 1839.

(e) Appointed under act of March 27, 1839, transferring the equity jurisdiction to the Vice Chancellor so appointed. Term of office commenced May 1, 1839.
