2010-2011 Environmental Science student:
This was overall more of a textbook than a story. While pointing out some interesting facts, it failed to keep my attention throughout what was a very long
200 pages. I did find some illustrations cool and they did help paint a picture, but I really did not enjoy reading this book. That being said, I think it was worth reading the book in the end just because I learned some very important things about the environment and about what needs to be done. So while I don't recommend this book I feel that topics it discussed were very important and worth reading for the class.

I will start with the word WOW!!! I read this book more than 10 years ago and I can say it is still one of my favorite books. I cried many times when I read it. I felt that the authors of this book must be very religious people. May God bless them for their efforts. I have used a short version of Mr Rees’s woodland wasp quote with the exclusion of the gory parts in at least 5 of my writings. I pray to the One Most High that your message gets to the heart of all those who read it and encourage the positive action of conserving our world. I thank you for this masterpiece. May the Peace and Blessings of God be with you.
