Richmond and Westchester should constitute a Metropolitan elections district for elections of state officers. The district was placed under control of a state superintendent of elections, also appointed by this act, which prescribed and limited his duties and powers. This act authorized discontinuance of the grade crossings of the Spuy- ten Duyvil and Port Morris railroad at Kings bridge road, East Two Hundred and Thirteenth street, Broadway, Corlear street, Tibbett avenue, West Two Hundred and Thir- tieth street and West Two Hundred and Twenty-seventh street, in the borough of Bronx.
