FROM the preceding list of donations and subscriptions, it will be seen, that this society has been favoured with many public and private contributions: and while the Trustees acknowledge, with great satisfaction, the reception of such liberal assistance, they are not without hope that many others will yet be found willing to imitate the same benevolent example; and as some persons, who are blessed with extensive means of doing good, may perhaps feel disposed to contribute to this institution, by will, it may not be improper to add the form of a bequest and a devise, adapted to this particular case.

ITEM. I give and bequeath to "The Free-School Society of New-York," the sum of

to be paid to their Treasurer, for the time being, for the use of the said society, in carrying on the benevolent designs of their institution.

GROUND RENTS.

ITEM. I give and devise unto « The Free-School Society of New-York," their successors and assigns for ever, all that, &c. (here describe the property or Ground rent) together with the appurtenances.
