An ordinance for the refunding and redemption of city scrip. The treasurer is hereby authorized to issue certificates, in sums of not less than twenty-five dollars, which shall be receivable for all taxes and dues to the city. The Finance committee is also authorized to issue bonds, in sums of not less than one hundred dollars. The proceeds of said loan to be appropriated to the redemption of city scrip, and no further issue of scrip for any purpose whatever; the treasurer to cancel and destroy all scrip in the presence of the Finance committee,..
