The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows: TITLE I. OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION, SECTION 1. The office of state superintendent of public instruction is continued, and the term of said office shall be three years, commencing on a day after an election thereto, and continuing until a successor shall have been duly elected.
