It was no doubt Sir Richard Carnac Temple that first scholarly made the studies in Nat-worship in Myanmar. Though there have been many scholars nowadays on the study of Nat spiritism in Myanmar, Sir Temple was the pioneer and his book The Thirty-Seven Nats has been the first hand primary source for academic study. It is the first and foremost previous study in regards of Nat studies in Myanmar.
