ROWN BREAD, by Weatherbit. He is a horse full of quality; his racing career was first class, and his stock cannot be surpassed. He will cover mares at 10gs each, and 5s. to the groom.

THE KNIGHT OF KARS. He is sire of more winners of Steeple Chases, Hurdle and Welter Races, than any horse in England. He is sire of The Colonel, winner of the Grand National twice, and his stock were first and second for the great 500 sov. Steeple Chase at Cork in 1871. E MARECHAL, by Monarque, out of Lady Lift, by Sir Hercules, will cover twenty mares, besides those of his owner, at 25 sov. each.

This horse never having covered in England, none of his produce, except those bred by Mr W. Sharpe, have been trained, and of these Christopher Sly, Elf Knot, What care I, Aiken Kent, and Mrs Sharpe, have all won races. The subscription to this horse is nearly full.

He won nine out of the last eleven races he started for, beating, at weight-for-age, Blue Gown and Favonius (winners of the Derby), Albert Victor, Dutch Skater, Sornette, Don Carlos, Barford, &c.; at three yrs old he won the Ascot Stakes, carrying 8st 121b, and the Severn Cup at Shrewsbury, giving away his year and beating at even weights Cardinal York, who had previously won the Cesarewitch by six lengths; at four year old he won the Great Midland Counties Stakes at Warwick, giving Indian Ocean, 4 yrs old, 26fb.
