"B" indicates that rates apply on traffic for export to Europe, Africa, and the east coast of South America.

Column 2 includes Barber, Bayway, Carteret, Chrome, Elizabeth, Grasselli, Harrison, Kearny, Newark, Passaic, Perth Amboy, Sewaren, Warners, and Woodbridge, N. J., and Yonkers, Glenwood-on-Hudson, and Hastings-on-Hudson, N. Y. Column 3 includes Boston (Union Wharf), Mass.

Column 4 includes Providence, R. I.

The following table shows the present all-water proportional class rates applying between Charleston and Baltimore and Philadelphia. Except as provided, group A rates apply on traffic received from or delivered to connecting lines at Baltimore or Philadelphia when originating at or destined to all points in the States of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and the Canadian Provinces. Group A rates apply also as proportional rates on traffic originating at Baltimore or Philadelphia proper, when destined to points beyond Charleston, S. C., or originating beyond Charleston and destined to Baltimore or Philadelphia. Except as provided, group B rates apply on traffic received from or delivered to connecting lines at Baltimore, Md., originating at or destined to all points except within the States above named under group A.
