SCHEDULE OF RATES

Amount received per annum for each public arc light (lamps burn all night and every night of the year); 4-ampere magnetite arc lamps, company post, $63.435 per lamp per annum; 6.6-ampere magnetite arc lamps, Government post, $80.91 per lamp per annum; 6.6-ampere magnetite arc lamps, company post, $85.31 per lamp per anuum.

Amount received per lamp for each public incandescent light (lamps burn all night and every night of the year):

Incandescent lamps furnished from overhead system: 60-candlepower lamp, company post costing not to exceed $15, $12.38 per lamp per annum; 100-candlepower lamp, company post costing not to exceed $15, $14.45 per lamp per annum; 250-candlepower lamp, company post costing not to exceed $15, $24.41 per lamp per annum; 250-candlepower lamp, company post costing more than $15, $24.41 (plus 11 per cent of excess of $15) per lamp per annum.

Traffic Bureau.-One-way traffic signals, centrally controlled, three 50-watt lamps, operating equivalent, one 50-watt lamp, 17 hours per day, $17.95 per signal per annum. Isolated traffic signals and traffic beacons, four-way, thirteen 50-watt lamps, operating equivalent, four 50-watt lamps, 24 hours per day, and one 50-watt lamp 3,942 hours and 28 minutes per annum, $60.53 per signal per aunum, three 60-watt lamps per signal, operating equivalent, one 60-watt lamp, 17 hours per day, $19.55 per signal per annum; 56-candlepower (60 watts), multiple mushrooms operating 24 hours per day, $14.54 per mushroom per annum. Average price charged per kilowatt for incandescent lights furnished to others than the public, with the varying discounts, and the price charged per kilowatt hour for power and heat furnished:

Residential (Schedule A).-General purposes: For current consumed during first 120 hours, monthly, of the connected load, 6.25 cents per kilowatt hour; for current consumed monthly in excess thereof, 4.5 cents per kilowatt hour. If the bill is not paid on or before the tenth day after rendition, a charge of 10 per cent of the amount of the bill is added. Minimum charge, 75 cents per

month for each meter installed.

Residential (Schedule K).-For purposes other than lighting: First 10 kilowatt hours monthly consumption, 6.25 cents per kilowatt hour; all in excess of 10 kilowatt hours, 3 cents per kilowatt hour. If the bill is not paid on or before the tenth day after rendition, a charge of 10 per cent of the amount of the bill is added. Minimum charge of 50 cents per month.

Commercial (Schedule B).—For all commercial purposes other than lighting: For current consumed during first 30 hours use of connected load, 6.25 cents per kilowatt hour; all in excess thereof, 4 cents per kilowatt hour. If the bill is not paid on or before the tenth day after rendition, a charge of 10 per cent of the amount of the bill is added. Minimum charge of $2 per month for each meter installed.

Commercial (Schedule C).-For current used for public lighting and motors in apartment buildings: First 400 kilowatt hours monthly consumption, 6.25 cents per kilowatt hour; next 450 kilowatt hours monthly consumption, 5.5 cents per kilowatt hour; next 1,000 kilowatt hours monthly consumption, 3 cents per kilowatt hour; current consumed in excess of 1,850 kilowatt hours, 2.5 cents per kilowatt hour. If the bill is not paid on or before the tenth day after rendition, a charge of 10 per cent of the amount of the bill is added. Minimum charge of 75 cents per month.

Commercial (Schedule D).-For general lighting, power, and other commercia purposes, except breakdown or auxiliary service to private plants: First 450 kilowatt-hours monthly consumption, 6 cents per kilowatt-hour; next 1,500 kilowatt-hours monthly consumption, 4.5 cents per kilowatt-hour; next 1,500 kilowatt-hours monthly consumption, 4 cents per kilowatt-hour; monthly consumption in excess of 3,450 kilowatt-hours, 2.5 cents per kilowatt-hour. the bill is not paid on or before the tenth day after rendition, a charge of 10 per cent of the amount of the bill is added. For service taken untransformed from our 60-cycle primary mains, either single or three phase, at 2,300 volts (nominal), a discount of 10 per cent is allowed. Minimum charge of $200 per month.

Commercial (Schedule E).-For any commercial purpose where demand contracted for is not less than 20 kilowatts: Fixed charge (for each month)-First 20 kilowatts of consumer's demand, $2.75 per kilowatt; next 30 kilowatts of consumer's demand, $2.25 per kilowatt; next 50 kilowatts of consumer's demand, $2 per kilowatt; excess of 100 kilowatts of consumer's demand, $1.75 per kilowatt. Energy charge (for each month)-First 250 kilowatt-hours consumption, 5.5 cents per kilowatt-hour; next 500 kilowatt-hours consumption, 4.5 cents per kilowatt-hour; next 1,000 kilowatt-hours consumption, 3.5 cents per kilowatthours; next 12,000 kilowatt-hours consumption, 2 cents per kilowatt-hour; next 25,000 kilowatt-hours consumption, 1.3 cents per kilowatt-hour; next 150,000 kilowatt-hours consumption, 1.2 cents per kilowatt-hour; excess of 188,750 kilowatt-hours consumption, 0.95 cent per kilowatt-hour. "Fixed" and "energy" charges included in this schedule are independent of each other, the former covering the demand for which the consumer requires the company to provide; the latter covering the current used. If the bill is not paid on or before the tenth day after rendition, a charge of 10 per cent of the amount of the bill is added. Minimum fixed charge, $55 per month, which is the monthly fixed charge on the first 20 kilowatts. For service taken under this schedule from our untransformed 25 or 60 cycle, high-tension mains, a discount of 25 per cent is allowed. For service taken untransformed from our 60-cycle primary mains, either single or three phase, at 2.300 volts (nominal), a discount of 10 per cent is allowed. Minimum charge $200 per month.

Commercial (Schedule F).-For industrial motors and battery charging (not available for elevator motors): First 1,000 kilowatt-hours monthly consumption, 5.5 cents per kilowatt-hour; next 500 kilowatt-hours monthly consumption, 4.5 cents per kilowatt-hour; next 500 kilowatt-hours monthly consumption, 3.5 cents per kilowatt-hour; excess of 2,000 kilowatt-hours monthly consumption, 3 cents per kilowatt-hour. If the bill is not paid on or before the tenth day after rendition, a charge of 10 per cent of the amount of the bill is added. Minimum charge of $22.50 per month.

Commercial (Schedule G).—For industrial motors (not available for elevators): For first 50 hours use monthly of maximum demand, 6.25 cents per kilowatt-hour; for all current used monthly in excess of 50 hours use of the maximum demand, 3 cents per kilowatt-hour. Maximum demand-Installations under 10 horsepower, only one motor used, 100 per cent; installations under 10 horsepower, more than one motor used, 90 per cent; installations 10 horsepower to 50 horsepower, 80 per cent; installations over 50 horsepower, 65 per cent. If the bill is not paid on or before the tenth day after rendition, a charge of 10 per cent of the amount of the bill is added. Minimum charge of $1 per month per horsepower or fraction thereof of rated capacity (lowest minimum $25). For service taken under this schedule from our untransformed 25 or 60 cycle, high-tension mains, a discount of 25 per cent is allowed. For service taken untransformed from our 60-cycle primary mains, either single or three phase, at 2,300 volts (nominal) a discount of 10 per cent is allowed. Minimum charge $200 per month.

Commercial (Schedule H).-For commercial cooking and heating purposes only: For first 10 kilowatt-hours monthly consumption, 6.25 cents per kilowatthour; for all in excess of 10 kilowatt-hours monthly consumption, 3 cents per kilowatt-hour. If the bill is not paid on or before the tenth day after rendition, a charge of 10 per cent of the amount of the bill is added. Minimum charge of -50 cents per month.
