I came across this book on Goodreads and I wanted to read it after looking at some of the reviews. I found out that Nelou Keramati was offering ARCs in exchange for reviews. So happy I was able to get an ARC.
First of all, the cover is beautiful! Second, the book is amazing! I haven't read anything like this. It was love at the first page. I was drawn in and couldn’t stop reading until the end. The main characters, Neve Dylan and Romer, were introduced in a rather mysterious and intriguing setting, it was captivating. I was pulled in and I didn’t want to let go. I needed more of them. It was fast-paced and action-packed that had my heart pounding and my mind going ‘OMG! OMG! OMG!’
As I wait for the next book, I’m going to start mentally preparing myself to expect at least one of the main characters to die… :( :( :(

I absolutely loved this story!! The Fray Theory itself is a very unique and intriguing concept, and it is just brilliant!! I've never come across anything like it before, and I would definitely love to read more about it. To be honest, the first few chapters of the story were confusing, but as I went deeper into the book things started to get clearer as secrets unraveled and it all connected like puzzle pieces fitting together, and there's just something about it that keeps you stuck to it. Besides, the characters in the book are just awesome! They are just so realistic: their emotions and reactions and the way they deal with every situation. This action-packed book was just great to read and there is no limit to what may come next.
In short, it is a very enjoyable and interesting work of fiction and fantasy, and I really can't wait to read what's yet to come!

Upon reading the synopsis for this book, I was hooked and I hadn't even started yet. I've been reading a lot more science fiction this year and they've all been brilliant; The Fray Theory is no exception. The author writes beautifully throughout the entire book and it was so easy to read - I would have finished sooner had I not been so damn busy!
The prologue was a great beginning to the book after finding out Neve has been hit by a car and doesn't have any physical injuries. This drew me in immediately and I hated having to turn my kindle off to do actual work. This novel follows the concept of dreams and how they are not just dreams, but perhaps glimpses of other dimensions. The characters find out the situation they're in is a lot more complicated than dreams and nightmares and suddenly they're on the run - I'm still wondering what these people want with them!
I loved all the main characters in this book, especially Romer. He has the whole broody male thing going on but he's very loyal (and handsome!) This may not mean a lot to many but I loved that Neve was a college student and not a damn high school student. I loved her character; she let her heart take the lead when it came to Dylan (because who wouldn't?!) but she wasn't naive. I didn't connect with Dylan as much as the other characters but I think I just want to learn more about him first - which I am eager to do!
The end chapter was so damn intriguing and mysterious and I am so ready for book two.
I talked about this earlier but I could never say it enough: this book is written so well. The book was detailed and intricate, yet so easy to read. It flowed really nicely and you may found yourself fully immersed in this book not knowing what's happening around you.
The Fray Theory - Resonance is released later this month on August 31st. Do yourself a favour and add it to your TBR.
5/5

I really loved this book! It had everything from fast-paced action, excitement and even some romance. I loved the main characters; Neve, Dylan and Romer and even Elliot. With twist and turns at every corner, there were so many surprises that I didn't see coming! I didn't want to put this book down as it had me hooked from the start!

The story follows Neve Knightly in this universe where her dreams kept on coming true until it snapped her (that’s basically the summary in one line). The writing style is something that I don’t see a lot of authors use, I felt as though some of the paragraphs had a poetic flow to it and it took some time for me to get into but the storyline and concept were so unique and new that it captured my interest.
The plot that the author has come up with is a concept that I don’t normally see in a YA Fantasy novel. The story unfolds in a very beautiful way that certainly makes you want to read more. I just couldn’t wait to know what exactly was happening and Nelou certainly has a knack for writing scenes that blend into one another but also stand out. I never had a problem with the time changes in the book, they didn’t seem out of place and helped the story wrap up as a whole which plenty of authors don’t get right. The *magic* that exists in this universe is a concept that is new to me in YA literature. It has actually made me rethink several situations in my lifetime (or should I say dreamtime *internally cringes at my fail in making a pun*) and if books were real some things would make so much more sense *sighs*
The characters were absolutely lovely. I found Neve hilarious in several instances, especially situations where I could relate to her as an individual. The other two main characters that we meet are Dylan and Romer. And I’m kinda Team Romer in the *pick one of the lead boys* category of fangirls. *I’m really trying not to give anything important away*. But my favourite part of the characters in the book is when they work together and I absolutely loved the chemistry. There are other characters too but reading this book with just the synopsis as a foundation is the best way to go and I totally recommend getting this book on the 31st of August 2016.
I can’t wait for the next book which I’m sure will be full of amazing action as the author has beautifully laid down the foundation for an amazing world and I really hope it will be as good or hopefully even better than the first book. Also points for pretty cover art and clever use of the page breakers in the book 😀
