The weights put down opposite each horse, in their respective Races, are those carried by them. This alteration has been considered necessary, to do away with the constant repetitions in Articles when additional weights are carried, and when allowances are made in them.

The Newbridge Challenge Cup of 30 sovs, with 10 sovs added, for horses bona fide the property of the inhabitants of Newbridge and its vicinity residing within one mile and a half of the town, and under the conditions contained in the Articles of said Cup. About two miles.
