About the author (1981)

David Ng was John K. McLennan Professor of Christian Education at San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo, California. Ng's work centered on multi-culturalism in the American Church and the church's educational ministry. Ng was honored with the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators award for Educator of the Year in 1991 and the David Ng Resource Center at San Francisco Theological Seminary was named in his honor following his death in 1997. Virginia Thomas holds a master's degree in Christian Education. She has led workshops and worship for several mainline denominations.
