RESOLUTIONS.

No. 1. RESOLUTION for the benefit of William Wilson.

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

§ 1. That the sum of two dollars per day be, and Benefit of is hereby, appropriated and allowed William Wilson son. for services in carrying record books for the Clerks of the Senate and House of Representatives to and from the offices of said Clerks during the present session.

§ 2. WHEREAS, said Wilson needs the wages due him for his labor, as it is earned for his support, an emergency exists, and this resolution shall take effect upon its adoption.

No. 2. RESOLUTION for the benefit of Custodian of Public
Buildings.

2. The Auditor of Public Accounts is hereby authorized to draw his warrant in favor of said Custodian for said amount.

3. There being no money on hand set apart to pay said expense, an emergency is declared to exist.

Librarian to furnish certain books, etc.

No. 3. RESOLUTION providing the Codes of Practice, Kentucky
Statutes, Official Manual and copies of the Governor's Message.

WHEREAS, It is necessary for the members of the General Assembly, in the proper and efficient discharge of their duties, during the session of the Legislature, to have a ready reference to the laws heretofore enacted and which are now in force as the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky; therefore,

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

$1. That the State Librarian be and is hereby directed to purchase and furnish to each member of the Senate and House, and to the President of the Senate, a copy of each of the latest editions of the Kentucky Statutes and Codes of Practice, and the acts of the 1904 and 1906 Legislatures for their use during this session of said body, same to remain the property of the State of Kentucky and to be returned to the State Librarian at the end of the session.

$ 2. That the State Librarian is hereby further authorized and directed to purchase, at not exceeding one dollar per copy, four hundred copies of the book entitled "Official Manual" for the use of the courts, State and county officials and members of the General Assembly of Kentucky. The Librarian will furnish the members of the General Assembly and such officials thereof as may be designated by the presiding officers of the respective houses, a copy of the same and will furnish the State officials with copies thereof and send a copy thereof to the clerk of the county court of each county in the State to be kept in his office; the Librarian will furnish to the Librarian of each State and Territory in the Union a copy of said book in exchange for similar books from the said States and Territories, and a copy to the Librarian of Congress.

§3. That the Librarian be, and is hereby, further directed to furnish each member of the House and Senate and the President of the Senate, one hundred copies of the Governor's message to the General Assembly of Kentucky in pamphlet form, each copy wrapped in post paid wrappers; also have printed on the wrapper of each copy the name of each member, according to his quota of copies.

§ 4. It being necessary that the officials should have the books herein provided for, an emergency is declared to exist and this resolution shall be in force upon its approval by the Governor.

No, 4. RESOLUTION for the benefit of the Ministers of the Gospe of Frankfort.

Be it resolved by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Appropriation of $350.00

§ 1. That the sum of $350 is hereby appropriated for ministers. out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to the ministers of the Gospel of Frankfort who have opened the sessions of the House and Senate with prayer during this session of the General Assembly, said sum to be paid by the Auditor on the joint warrant of the Chief Clerks of the Senate and House of Representatives, who will distribute said sum to the ministers entitled to same.

Provided, That said sum of $350 shall be paid onehalf to the Clerk of the House and one-half to the Clerk of the Senate, to be distributed by them to the ministers entitled to same.

§ 2. WHEREAS, It is but just and fair that these services should be paid for promptly, an emergency is declared to exist and this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption.
