The first part of this book is about to turn the Pre-European and colonial history of Georgia upside down. "The Early History of Jackson County" has long been viewed as a quaint account of a county in northeast Georgia, but Wilson unknowingly provided powerful linguistic and architectural evidence of a different history for the Southern Highlands than is taught students today. The revelations will make the "Mayas In Georgia Thing" seem like a pin prick.
