54. J. R. Manning, resident of Wayne, Wayne county, Nebraska, against Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha Railroad Company.

Complaint alleges excessive, unjust and unreasonable rates on live stock and coal.

Feb. 27, 1889. Complaint filed.

March 15, 1889. Answer filed.

The question at issue in this case being in most respects identical with number 55, it was deemedpracticable by the parties that they should be tried together. It was accordingly done. Hearing was had at Tekamah March 21, 1889, and case disposed of as disposition is shown in case No. 55.
