Morton Marye, John G. Dew, and J. H. O'Bannon having received all of the votes cast for the office of Auditor of Public Accounts, Second Auditor, and Superintendent of Public Printing, respectively, were declared by the SPEAKER duly elected to the respective offices. for which they were voted for, for the term prescribed by law.

The SPEAKER laid before the House the following communication from the Governor:

Resolved by the House of Delegates, That the State Libray Board be requested to purchase two Confederate flags-one to be placed. above the portrait of the Honorable John Letcher, and the other above the portrait of the Honorable William Smith, in the Portrait Gallery of the State Library-these two having been the Governors of the State of Virginia during the war between the States. Which was agreed to.

Mr. HUNLEY moved that when the House adjourn to-day it adjourn to meet Monday at 12 o'clock M., which was agreed to.

Resolved by the House of Delegates (the Senate concurring), That the General Assembly proceed this day at 12:15 P. M. to the election of a judge of the County Court of Goochland county, to fill the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Judge A. X. Monteiro. Which was agreed to.

Ordered, That Mr. GRAY carry the resolution to the Senate and request their concurrence.

A message was received from the Senate by Mr. PATTERSON, who informed the House that the Senate had agreed to the House joint resolution.
