IN preparing the present edition for the press, the Editor has incorporated the decisions which have taken place, and the statutes which have been passed, relating to the law of "Landlord and Tenant," since the publication of this work by the late Mr. Woodfall, in 1804. Some of the chapters have been rewritten, though the same titles and divisions have been retained; while many points, not comprised in the former editions, have been introduced.
