About the author (2004)

Lynette Olsen has been the Medical Instructor/Program Manager at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona for more than twelve years. She is a certified professional coder and a current member of both the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). She has a Doctorate Degree in Higher Education and a Masters Degree in Public Administration. Ms. Olsen has developed her own online highly comprehensive coding and test prep courses, as well as extensive curriculum for health administration courses at Pima College.
