Our Church has in this office provided against the at Christian Parents be under concern if their Child should die racks of sickness, or any pressing necellity of this nature, without it; provided it is not owing to their own negligence which may happen before the Child can receive public Bapor or impiety. Wher fore, after this promise made by Christ, this Infant must also faithfully for bis part, promise by you that are bis fureties (until he coine of age to take it upon bimself, ) that he will renounce the devil and all his works, and constantly beiieve Go:l's holy Word, and obedienily keep his Commandments.
